Third–and this one had been quickly debunked weeks ago–I thought it would be another “Fifty Shades” installment book where I needed to wait for books 2, 3 and even up to 5 to get the whole story. And so Oz/Miles’ age here is a turnoff for me. I wanted them a little older at least. And now I’m in my 30s, I would like at least the hero to be in his 30s or older. When I was in high school, I didn’t read love stories with high school or even college students as main characters.

And while the erstwhile Spider-man was cute, he was, well, cute. The hero looks like Andrew Garfield here. But I have shallow reasons I wasn’t enthusiastic about it.įirst, the cover. It’s not because the storyline didn’t intrigue me. It was more like a an obligation to read it, I admit. I read “Until Ashlyn” and two other books first before reading the first page of “Everything for Her.” That’s how unexcited I was for it. I pre-ordered it, along with Aurora Rose Reynolds’ “Until Ashlyn” (review coming soon), but I did not read it until the next day of its release. But Alexa Riley has released her newest (and as-yet only full length) book, “Everything for Her,” and it’s just a must for me to end my hiatus, even if it’s eating my day job time.īut I must admit I wasn’t really looking forward to reading this one. It’s been months since I last wrote a review here (work and all that jazz). I’ve constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves. I’ve wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her.
